Day 9

This week, our robot is due.  While we have finished the physical bot, we must finish our virtual bot.  I have already unzipped all the files and now need to make the mates.  Izabela and Alec are working out any kinks in the bot.  Wish us luck.

Day 8

Today is the last day we have to work on our robot. Yesterday, we finished programming the remote and cortex. Before we finish, everything has to be in working order, and weight added.

Day 6

This week we did not reach our goal of finishing the robot but, we have improved the design and layout of the gears and axles and, are currently remaining with the original pentagram shape. Today Mr. Martin has given us time to work on our robot instead of working on solid works. Our goal by Monday is to have all the gears and wheels working with the two motors.

Day 5

This week we plan to finish our robot by Friday. To accomplish this, we may have to make a few changes to the layout. So far, we have gone with a pentagram design which may have a few flaws. Changing it may be time consuming, but the right thing to do.

Day 4

This week we worked on the layout of the wheels and gears. In addition to working on our robot we also had a pop quiz on solid works and worked as a group to understand how to draw the part on solid works.

Day 3

This week we plan to finalize and construct our bot.  In addition, we have to design the bot on solidworks and complete our awesome blog.  I believe designing the bot on solidworks will be difficult because it is a complex object.
