Day 7

This week is crucial to our robot development, not only must we complete our bot, but we must virtually assemble it by Friday.  Today, I plan to find the parts online and begin to import and unzip the files while Izabela and Alec will continue working on the bot.

Day 6

This week we did not reach our goal of finishing the robot but, we have improved the design and layout of the gears and axles and, are currently remaining with the original pentagram shape. Today Mr. Martin has given us time to work on our robot instead of working on solid works. Our goal by Monday is to have all the gears and wheels working with the two motors.

Day 5

This week we plan to finish our robot by Friday. To accomplish this, we may have to make a few changes to the layout. So far, we have gone with a pentagram design which may have a few flaws. Changing it may be time consuming, but the right thing to do.

Day 4

This week we worked on the layout of the wheels and gears. In addition to working on our robot we also had a pop quiz on solid works and worked as a group to understand how to draw the part on solid works.

Day 3

This week we plan to finalize and construct our bot.  In addition, we have to design the bot on solidworks and complete our awesome blog.  I believe designing the bot on solidworks will be difficult because it is a complex object.

Day 2

This week we have successfully set up our (soon to be) awesome blog.  Izabela, Alec, and I designed a unique robot that will dominate.  In my opinion, our bot looks like an 18 inch house.  Alec has been focused on the gears and moving parts while Izabela and I worked on the frame.

Day 1

Today, we started the process of making the blog. As soon as it's set up, we can begin on the ROBOT FUN. The tug-of-war challenge this year will be a great competition between teams.
